The Palm Cove Tropical House : Terms and Conditions of Temporary Short Term Holiday Accommodation
Deposit of $500 non refundable is required to secure your booking at The Palm Cove Tropical House . Payment of the rental deposit constitutes the clients acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Departure - the Palm Cove Tropical House should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival. We do not expect you to scrub the floors! But to remove all personal rubbish and put it in the wheely bins outside and to leave the house in an equivalently clean state to which you found it.
Palm Cove Tropical House Check-out time is 10am unless specified and sometimes we have to ask you to vacate by 9am as we have to allow time to prepare property for next guests. If this is the case, we will notify you beforehand.
Balance of the Palm Cove Triopical house rental amount can be paid upon arrival or by 2 weeks prior to arrival.
Cancellation if caused by the client, money paid is not refundable unless the house is re-let for the entire period. A reduction in the number of days will result in the full fee still being charged, unless the Palm Cove Tropical house can be re let to others.
Please note the linen policy:
The Palm Cove Tropical House operates a bring your own (b.y.o) towels and linen is optional. We can also supply towels and linen and make up the beds for you at $50 per queen /double size bed and $25 per single bed per stay. If you wish to have linen supplied please inform us prior to arrival so we can and make up the beds for you.
To maintain a good standard for our guests at The Palm Cove Tropical house we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most guests will respect our property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions. Whilst the owner has at all times maintained the property to a reasonable standard of repair and condition , the client acknowledges and agrees that if the property suffers any household failure then the owner shall not be liable to the customer for any loss, damage or inconvenience suffered by the customer as a consequence of such failure on the basis that unexpected events e.g. burst pipes may occur.
The owner accepts no responsibility for any losses at The Palm Cove Tropical House damage or convenience sustained by the client as a result of necessary works having to be carried out by tradesmen. The client acknowledges that the property is routinely serviced by gardeners, swimming pool maintenance men and a handyman and will allow access to the property for necessary and routine works to be carried out. In the event that the client refuses to allow access for necessary repairs to be carried out in a timely fashion, then the client may be responsible for payment to repair the additional damage caused due to no access.
The owner accepts no responsibility to for losses or inconvenience sustained by the client as a result of weather, cyclones, burst pipes, or acts of god at The Palm Cove Tropical House.
The number of Guests at The Palm Cove Tropical House should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email. Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed with the owners in advance.
Parties and Functions at The Palm Cove Tropical House are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. Use contrary to this may result in additional payments.
Damage to property, goods, fixtures and fittings including but not limited to all swimming pool accessories and working machines. Breakages, Theft and Loss are the tenants responsibility during their stay at The Palm Cove Tropical House .
The client must inform the owner of The Palm Cove Tropical House immediately of any damage or breakages they observe in particular if it is causing ongoing damage to property e.g. a burst pipe so that the owner may take steps to rectify the damage and minimise losses. Failure to notify the owner immediately may result in damage to property and the client may be asked to pay for damage caused through failure to report.
Bond in the form of a credit card transaction slip is payable upon arrival at The Palm Cove Tropical House. The amount payable for damages may be processed by the owner and the client will be supplied with a copy of all relevant invoices as well as their credit card transaction slip as soon as possible by the owner. The bond is designed to cover any additional costs incurred including but not limited to, any breakage, damage or excess cleaning requirements, extra guests beyond those declared . The customer hereby authorises the owner to debit against the credit card provided when this agreement was signed (and the customer will pay on demand any balance of) the charges for damages at the end of the hire period: Full replacement charges will immediately apply & extra monies charges will be reimbursed to the hirer in the event costs were less than the excess amount.
In particular families with young children may be charged an extra cleaning fee if the children have left a big mess in the house, toys all over the place and it requires more than the usual 4 hours to clean and prepare the property for the next incoming guests.
Pets are not allowed at The Palm Cove Tropical House, unless specific arrangements have been made in writing with the owner.
Loss - the owners take no responsibility for the tenant's personal property at The Palm Cove Tropical House.
Please ensure that you have adequate insurance cover for the duration of your holiday, as we do not accept any responsibility for any injury or losses incurred during the duration of your stay at The Palm Cove Tropical House.
Variations to these conditions may only be made by prior arrangements with the owner in writing.
